Beautifully designed and crafted floral accessories for the romantic bride, inspired by the woodlands, glades and untamed wilderness. Each accessory is designed and crafted by Rachel Ward in her home studio in South Staffordshire, England. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the local woodlands, glades and wild gardens, our designs are especially popular with brides and their bridal parties that are looking for that hint of everlasting nature on their special day! With a stunning range of elegant floral bridal wear, statement flower headbands perfect for the spring and summer races, and flowery clips and pins perfect for brightening up a dull day, Woodland Blossoms has you covered for every occasion and season.
Established in 2012, Woodland Blossoms was created by Rachel (the owner, designer, maker and cup of tea drinker), with an aim of bringing the romantic beauty of British flowers and foliage into everyday designs and accessories. With a love of craft and design, and just a small wee thing for all things botanical, Rachel creates all of her products in her scandi inspired home studio with inspiring wall prints, its accents of colourful blooms, vases of green foliage and cute little succulents dotted around (if you look closely you may also spot a lovable yellow minion or two!). Based on the borders of South Staffordshire in England, the location is perfect for escaping into the countryside for that little bit of inspiration.
Keep an eye out for behind the scenes footage, studio updates and more over on our Instagram stories! @woodlandblossoms … and if you want to share some of the love back to us, please feel free to tag us using #wbflowercrowns over on Instagram and Pinterest :D.
Meet the Team
Rachel Ward – Rachel is the designer, creater, crafter and photographer of all the floral headpieces at Woodland Blossoms. She is a self taught flower maker, graphical designer and artist, with a MSc in Computer Science and Internet Systems and a BSc in Marine Biology (yes random I know but she does love the sea). In addition to her floral making passion, she also runs a website and graphic design business, Meadowfern Designs where she designs, creates and sells floral and foliage inspired artwork and printables, and creates clean, simple nature inspired web designs and wordpress themes. She is passionate about flowers, books, notebooks, getting lost in the woods, tending to her vege patch, foraging for wild foods, wooly yarns, crotchet & knitting, pastries, cookies and copious amounts of tea!
Julie Ward – Julie is the designer, creater and owner of Mountain Ash Jewellery on Etsy, and has created a gorgeous gemstone range specifically for Woodland Blossoms. The ever loving and patient mum to Rachel (seriously she is a saint for putting up with me sometimes – R x), she loves to make beautiful gemstone beaded jewellery and is ever inspired in her studio full to the brim with sparkly goodies! She is passionate about getting things just right and her quality standard is second to none. She loves to watch the lambs jump around in the fields, scouring pinterest for DIY and decor inspiration, and also drinking copious amounts of tea (with maybe a biscuit or two).
